The City of Vilshofen an der Donau (hereinafter "Granting Authority") is seeking a contractor (hereinafter "Concessionaire") for the planning, construction and operation of a gigabit-capable fibre-optic network, to be built in the municipality of the Granting Authority, funded under the "Guideline for the 'Promotion to Support the Gigabit Expansion of Telecommunications Networks in the Federal Republic of Germany'", announcement of the Federal Ministry for Transport and Digital Infrastructure of 31.03.2023 in the amended version of 30.04.2024 (hereinafter: "Gigabit-RL 2.0") within the "Gap Closure Programme" in the sense of No. 9.1 of the Gigabit-RL 2.0 and the "Guideline on the Co-financing of the Promotion of the Gigabit Expansion by the Federal Government in the Free State of Bavaria 2.0" (hereinafter: "KofGibitR 2.0") in the economic viability gap model.
