Poland – Road construction works – Rozbudowa ulicy Szpilewskiego w Słupsku

The subject of the contract is the construction works consisting of the expansion of Szpilewskiego Street in Słupsk as part of the investment task entitled „Expansion of Roads and Lighting in the Zachód Housing District in Słupsk”. 2. The main subject of the investment task is the improvement of the technical and operational parameters of a Class L road, the expansion of the road, bus lane, the construction of a pavement, cycle path, and pedestrian-cyclist route, the reconstruction of the intersection with Szczecińska Street, and the connection to the roundabout intersection with Legionów Polskich Street, the designation of pedestrian crossings and cycle crossings, the expansion of the existing traffic lights, as well as the construction of street lighting, road drainage, and a technological channel. The investment scope includes: a) the construction of a bituminous road surface, b) the reconstruction of intersections and exits to the extent necessary for the road to function, as well as the reconstruction of the BUSPAS section, c) the construction of roundabout intersections with ul. W. Korfantego (km 0+682) and with ul. Dywizjonu 303 (km 1+355), d) the construction of a channelled intersection (km 1+673), e) the construction of a section connecting the newly designed infrastructure of Szpilewskiego Street (km 0+332) with the existing Szpilewskiego Street, f) the expansion of the existing traffic lights, g) the construction of a two-sided pavement with a width of 2.00 m, h) the construction of a one-sided cycle path with a width of 2.50 m made of bituminous mass, i) the construction of a one-sided pedestrian-cyclist route with a width of 3.00 m made of bituminous mass, j) the construction of two-sided bus stops of type P-17, k) the installation of illuminated bus stop shelters along the BUSPAS route at the intersection with ul. Dmowskiego, l) the installation of illuminated bus stop shelters along the planned ul. Szpilewskiego, m) the construction of a road drainage system, n) the construction of a lighting network with the illumination of pedestrian crossings, o) the construction of a technological channel, p) the execution of changes to vertical and horizontal signage, q) in order to minimize inconveniences and increase the safety of motor and pedestrian traffic, a bypass should be made during the construction period in ul. Korfantego (plot no. 34/11, parcel 10) by widening the carriageway by 1.5 m with POZBET type slabs with a length of approximately 115 m and the execution of a pedestrian route with a width of 1.5 m with POZBET type slabs with a length of approximately 125 m according to the drawing, r) the arrangement of the area and landscaping as well as small architecture (benches and waste bins) of the expanded street, s) the preparation of a dendrological expertise containing basic information such as the Polish and Latin species name, circumference at a height of 130 cm, height and crown diameter, as well as a detailed assessment of the phytosanitary condition including an analysis of the root system, root collar, trunk, and crown of 3 trees forming part of the historical green complex, i.e. the alley along Szpilewskiego Street, with an indication of the best method of protection and securing the indicated trees during the implementation of the present investment, as well as the determination of measures aimed at improving the habitat and living conditions of the trees after its completion in accordance with the opinion of the Voivodeship Office for the Protection of Monuments in Gdańsk, Delegation in Słupsk of 20.07.2023 and 03.08.2023.
