A monitoring tool for the linguistic and mathematical development of children is to be developed, piloted, validated and tested for reliability, derived from the Brandenburg Educational Plan. The items for assessing the competencies of children at the end of their kindergarten period (third trimester of the last kindergarten year) will be designed as the "Individual Learning Status Analysis at the Transition from Kindergarten to School (ILeA 0)" and made compatible with the existing monitoring tool for the "Individual Learning Status Analysis in the First 6 Weeks After School Enrolment (ILeA plus)". The aim is an integrated, structurally harmonised monitoring system that records linguistic and mathematical development in a comparable and compatible structure.
