The subject of the public procurement is the establishment of the Central Process Control System in the company Plinovodi d.o.o. as the operator of the gas transmission system in Slovenia. The Central Process Control System will be the key process information system for remote monitoring and management of the gas transmission system. Therefore, with this procurement, we are proceeding with the tender for the supply and implementation of a modern and widely accepted monitoring system, which will replace the existing one and provide a good technical basis for the further development of the activities of the transmission system operator, also in light of the upcoming green transition and management of the transmission system with renewable gases. In addition to the fact that the Central Process Control System will have to be based on modern but proven standards and technologies in the field of control systems and ensure high availability of operation, it will also have to ensure flexibility of configuration and architecture, upgradability and scalability of content, modularity of functional system components and connectivity via standard communication protocols. The system will also have to enable the inclusion and monitoring of gases from renewable sources, including the monitoring of the hydrogen share. An important segment and focus of the procurement is also the provision of increased demands in the field of information security in the recent period.
