This project involves designing and managing a measurement network for the German rail network, which will systematically collect data on train movements at German main lines using measurement stations and make it usable for subsequent reuse. Based on technical possibilities as well as legal and organisational conditions, a measurement concept for selected use cases will be developed, which is to be implemented in a subsequent project. The project work also includes stakeholder management and internal and external communication of project results during the development of the measurement concept and the implementation of the pilot measurement network. The implementation of the measurement concept and the pilot phase of the measurement network will also be adapted as needed in relation to legal and organisational issues and the measurement concept.
