Description

The tender must result in an agreement with a bank that has sufficient expertise to facilitate the university regarding current and future payment transactions. You are requested to submit a bid for the following: 1. Provision of payment transactions for Leiden University, for which, among other things, a system for electronic banking will be made available, in which the bank accounts of the university's units and the affiliated foundations are included in one complex, where either a daily balance regulation or otherwise a zero balance structure is possible and interest compensation can take place at least with regard to university accounts. 2. A proposal to reduce the handling costs of the cash flows within the university as much as possible, in a user-friendly manner, by, among other things, a reduction in the number of bank accounts and an optimisation of the remaining payment transactions (notably receipts for various services). 3. Other services that the bank can provide to support the university in achieving related objectives and maintaining a financially stable position. The bank must identify any risks in the operation and advise the university. It is essential that the bank is connected to the procedure regarding treasury banking. Furthermore, the bank must be able to facilitate international (worldwide) payment transactions. In addition, it is important that the bank is able to (proactively) respond to new developments during the agreement, actively propose these to Leiden University and implement them.
