Spain – Repair and maintenance services of furniture – Servicios de conservación y mantenimiento de las áreas de equipamientos del Ayuntamiento de Madrid

The subject of this contract is the cleaning and maintenance of children's play areas, senior areas, basic sports circuits and dog zones located in parks and public spaces (hereinafter referred to as equipment areas) in accordance with European safety standards, if such standards exist (or any other regulations that may be approved and applicable). With the contracting of this service, other objectives of great importance are also to be achieved, such as the hygiene of the areas, the aesthetics and integration into the urban landscape, the recreational value of the facilities and, finally, the comfort and convenience of both children, seniors and young people as well as their companions and caregivers. In order to use common terms in this tender, for the purposes of this contract, the following are designated: Children's play areas: a set of grouped play elements intended for minors, which may or may not include other accessory elements such as fencing, signs, benches, litter bins, etc., intended to complement this. Senior areas: a set of elements intended for use by older people to perform gentle exercises, which have nothing to do with gym or training elements, designed so that the same cannot cause injuries or damage to older people. These areas are conceived as urban meeting spaces for the elderly, who, while performing the exercises, have a place for socialization, and present a stimulus to improve their quality of life. Basic sports circuits: a set of elements intended for use by adults to perform sports activities that can be carried out without the need for supervision by a coach. Dog zones: areas composed of a perimeter fence and may contain, in some cases, different exercise elements for dogs. The maintenance of equipment areas in enclosed or private areas, such as schools, residences, sports facilities and, in general, any facility that is not located on public domain and use land, and is not freely accessible to citizens, is excluded.
