Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Neubau Kindertagesstätte in Hodenhagen

The municipality of Hodenhagen plans to replace an existing kindergarten from the early 1970s, with various extensions and additions, with a new building. A plot of approximately 3,500 sqm in a central location in Hodenhagen is available for this purpose. This building will house 4 groups, including a movement room, necessary wet areas, staff rooms, management office, meeting room, kitchen, technical functional and ancillary rooms. The group rooms should be suitable for different group types (regular group, integrative group, nursery group, integrative nursery, full-day group). Since the group types may change over the building's period of use, the rooms should be flexibly usable. The group rooms must be approximately 60 sqm in size. Furthermore, the design of the building must comply with the provisions of the Child and Youth Welfare Act and the corresponding implementing regulations. Currently, 2 regular groups, 1 integrative group, and 1 nursery group are housed in the existing building. A two-story building may be constructed on the selected plot.
