The procurement covers the provision of home care services under the Act on Social Services for the Elderly, as well as practical assistance and support and personal care and nursing under the Act on Services. Furthermore, the procurement covers delegated tasks under the Health Act (nursing). The agreement covers home-dwelling citizens in the Municipality of Copenhagen, who are assessed for the included services. The assessment is carried out through the Municipality of Copenhagen's relevant assessment units, and the agreement therefore covers citizens in the entire Municipality of Copenhagen. As a starting point, an agreement is entered into with two suppliers, between whom citizens have free choice. The scope of services therefore depends on the number of assessed citizens as well as the citizens' choice of supplier. The contracting authority wishes to enter into a 4-year agreement with the possibility of extension for up to 48 months, distributed over three consecutive options: first option for up to 24 months, second option for up to 12 months and third option for up to 12 months. The options can only be utilised consecutively.
