The information system for supporting the operation of the registry consists of several components and modules for establishing registries and records with the corresponding directories, as well as the appropriate support for processing, storing, and transferring data from registry entries. The information system, along with its components, registries, and records, is described in more detail in the lower chapters of this document. The information system for supporting the operation of the registry is hosted in the Centre for Shared Services. The information system operates in three environments: the test and production environments are located within the Centre for Shared Services and must be provided by the Contracting Authority, while the third development environment must be provided by the Contractor in their own premises using their own physical resources. The Contractor is responsible for all the costs of establishing, maintaining, and using the development environment. The Contractor will provide the necessary data and list of key experts who need to be granted remote access to the Centre for Shared Services, while the Contracting Authority will provide the necessary approvals and user accounts. The test and production environments located in the Centre for Shared Services use the level of service Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The IaaS shared service of the Centre for Shared Services is enhanced with a classic IaaS service with all the infrastructure services necessary for the uninterrupted functioning of the platform and is adapted for hosting systems and services of public sector bodies. The basic IaaS shared service is a virtual instance (VM) and all that is necessary to establish a virtual data centre in the Centre for Shared Services cloud. The information system for supporting the operation of the registry is aligned and functional on the infrastructure of the Centre for Shared Services in accordance with its current technical requirements and reference design, as well as the supported technologies.
