The aforementioned tender for port operations, area maintenance and winter preparedness is carried out by Servicemægleren A/S on behalf of Port of Aalborg Logistics A/S as a public tender with the aim of entering into a single, comprehensive contract. The task includes the operation and maintenance of Port of Aalborg's areas as well as the execution of port-related service and preparedness tasks.

The work includes the ongoing handling of:

Port operations:

Waste management from ships as well as cleaning and tidying of quay and port areas

Service tasks for ships, including the supply of electricity and water as well as the handling of facilities

Ad hoc tasks and logistical support for the port's operations and activities

Area maintenance:

Grass cutting as well as maintenance of green areas, trees and planting

Weed control and maintenance of paved areas

Operation and inspection of drainage systems, basins and ditches

Winter preparedness:

Snow clearing and salting of roads, squares and quay areas

Preparedness and rapid response to ice and snowfall

Coordination with the port's operations and shipping operations

The agreement has a variable scope and must cover both planned operational tasks and ongoing ad hoc tasks and preparedness.

The purpose of the agreement is to ensure an effective, flexible and operationally stable delivery that supports Port of Aalborg's daily operations and activity level.
