No deadline given

Description

The planned demolition measure serves to clear the site for an extension of the ev. Klinikum Gelsenkirchen. This includes the demolition of the former Amtsgericht Gelsenkirchen (a 3- or 5-storey building with a hipped/ gabled roof or flat roof) and an adjacent 2-storey institutional building with various annexes. Furthermore, there is an underground former air-raid shelter (bunker facility) from World War II on the site, which is also to be demolished. The total volume to be demolished is approximately 60,000 m3 (GFA). The buildings of the former Amtsgericht are partially basemented and border directly on the roadway (pavement and road) of the Overwegstraße. The buildings were constructed at different times, the former Amtsgericht (old building) around the turn of the century and the annex after World War II, partially basemented and in some areas at risk of collapse. In some areas of the building, the professional dismantling and proper disposal of various hazardous demolition materials such as asbestos, PCB, KMF, etc. must be carried out. The entire demolition takes place in an inner-city environment with immediately adjacent neighbouring buildings and thus places high demands on the sequence and logistics of the demolition work.
