The Cultural House Slavie is a neo-Renaissance building and a protected cultural monument located in České Budějovice on the bank of the Malše, in close proximity to the city's historic core. The building has served as the city's center for cultural, social, and political events for decades. It has housed theaters and a variety of cultural associations, movements, and ensembles. The newly reconstructed building now continues this tradition, and the operation of catering services should correspond with the character and mission of the building. The subject of the concession will be the operation/provision of catering services, including the operation of a restaurant, café, and two (2) bars in the designated areas of the Cultural House Slavie. The operation of the café and restaurant includes outdoor spaces allowing for the operation of an outdoor garden with seating for café and restaurant guests. The selected supplier will operate/provide restaurant and possibly catering services in the designated areas of the Cultural House Slavie under the conditions set out in the concession agreement. The operation of the restaurant will be independent, i.e., the restaurant will operate regardless of events taking place at the Cultural House Slavie. The catering activities in the café and two (2) bars will primarily be provided in connection with events (events) held at the Cultural House Slavie. In this context, events refer to theater performances, other public performances, conferences, concerts, dances, and other similar events organized at the Cultural House Slavie. A detailed specification of the subject of the concession fulfillment, including technical conditions necessary for processing the offer, is provided in the annexes to this tender documentation, namely in Annex No. 1 – Commercial Conditions (in the form of a binding draft concession agreement) (hereinafter also referred to as the “Contract Draft”), Annex No. 2 – Description of catering operations (hereinafter also referred to as the “Operation Description”) and Annex No. 3 – Description of equipment, layout (hereinafter referred to as the “Equipment Description”). The contracting authority notes that the reconstruction of the Cultural House Slavie was co-financed through a grant.
