The contractor shall perform the full scope of duties of an investment supervision inspector as defined by the provisions of the Act of 7 July 1994, the Construction Law. The scope of the works to be carried out by the Contracting Authority within the framework of MRN3 has been defined in Annex No. 2 to the SWZ. The contractor shall be responsible for the control and written evaluation, within 5 days, of the documentation provided by the designer carrying out the order for the preparation of the project documentation of all elements created in the design process related to the verified and supervised task at each stage of its implementation, as well as the control of the amendments made in accordance with the instructions. The contractor shall actively participate in meetings and gatherings organized by the Contracting Authority during the preparation of the project documentation and during the construction works, as well as in financial settlements and controls carried out by the consulting and financing units and public administration bodies. As part of the supervision of the proper execution of the project documentation, the supervision inspector shall be required to prepare a report within 14 days from the submission by the Contracting Authority of the complete project documentation. The contractor shall familiarise themselves with the rules and guidelines contained in the "Project Implementation Manual" (Annex No. 1 to the SWZ) in order to properly verify the project documentation and control the correctness of the construction works. The Contracting Authority shall hand over the Manual to the Contractor on the date of the conclusion of the Contract. Before handing over the construction site to the contractor, the supervision inspector must familiarise themselves with the design and cost documentation, technical specification for the execution and acceptance of construction works, the accepted financial and physical schedule, the tender from the contractor, the contract with the contractor, as well as the investment site, its equipment and existing hydrotechnical facilities and structures. In the event of defects or inaccuracies being found in the project documentation, before the start of construction or during its implementation, or in the event of the need to make changes to the documentation in order to apply different structural solutions or different materials than those originally envisaged in the project documentation or in order to achieve savings and reduce costs, the supervision inspector should submit a written request to the Contracting Authority for changes or corrections to the documentation. The supervision inspector may independently introduce changes to the project documentation after agreeing them with the project author and the construction manager, making the appropriate entry in the construction diary and applying these corrections to the project documentation. These corrections must not lead to an increase in the costs of the supervised construction works and must not have a negative impact on the environment and safety. Details are provided in the SWZ.
