Germany – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Rahmenverträge Bauaußenstellen ELT der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaften e.V., Liegenschaft Bremen (MPI: MBIO)

The Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science (MPG) is a non-profit research organisation predominantly funded by public means. It currently maintains and operates 84 institutes and other research facilities of varying size, structure, and remit across Germany, primarily dedicated to basic research in the natural and humanities sciences. The subject of the contract to be awarded is engineering services in the field of ELT technology for technical external sites of the General Administration of the Max Planck Society. The contract will be concluded as a framework agreement pursuant to § 21 VgV. The subject of the procurement procedure comprises the engineering services to be provided as so-called "Technical External Site" in the field of ELT technology within the scope of ongoing building maintenance, upkeep, and repair of technical building equipment and systems in accordance with the provided draft contract. The contract services are based on §§ 53 – 56 HOAI. The Technical External Site supports the Max Planck Society in the maintenance of its buildings. Building maintenance is carried out in accordance with the Max Planck Society's guidelines for building maintenance. In addition, the contracting authority intends to award planning services for construction measures to the contractor during the term of the framework agreement. The services are usually performed during ongoing operations. In providing the services, not only the specific requirements of the highly equipped buildings and the corresponding technical systems, but also the usual workflows in research and science must be taken into account. In this respect, the Max Planck Society places not only value on the fact that the bidders can demonstrate profound knowledge in the field of science and research, but also that they have experience in carrying out maintenance and repair measures during ongoing operations. The services to be provided must at least comply with the generally accepted rules of the art and meet all the necessary requirements of economy, energy efficiency, and sustainability. By submitting the application, the bidders declare that they are able to provide the services within the specified period and, in particular, that they have the necessary specialist, personnel, material, and time resources for this purpose. The special requirements for the provision of services may necessitate frequent/short-notice availability on site or in Munich for coordination meetings at the request of the contracting authority. This lot includes the following MPIs: MBIO (Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology) By submitting an application, the bidders declare that they are able to provide the services within the period specified below and that they have the necessary specialist, personnel, and material resources for this purpose.
