France – Archaeological services – Opérations de fouilles archéologiques sur le terrain de la zone d'activité économique à Carspach

The consultation concerns the carrying out of archaeological excavation operations on the site of the Economic Activity Zone (ZAE) in Carspach. By order SRA no. 2025/A196 dated 27 July 2025, the regional archaeological service prescribed the carrying out of a preventive diagnostic on this zone. This has revealed a site of great richness marked by a succession of human and military occupations, the remains of which bear witness to local history, from the Paleolithic to the Great War. These discoveries present a major scientific interest which justify complementary investigations and, in particular, more advanced archaeological excavations.
