The subject of the contract is the provision of services for the permanent direct physical protection of persons and property at the National Museum in Krakow. The basic contract covers the provision of services for a period of 24 months from the date of commencement of the protection services, with the possibility of extending the period of implementation within the framework of the right of option for a further 24 months, in two consecutive periods of 12 months each. The maximum period of service, including the right of option, is 48 months. 2. The protection services will be provided at the following Branches of the National Museum in Krakow: 1) The Czartoryski Library at 17 św. Marka Street, Krakow, 2) The Józef Mehoffer House at 26 Krupnicza Street, Krakow, 3) The Jan Matejko House at 41 Floriańska Street, Krakow, 4) The Stanisław Wyspiański Museum at 6 Sikorski Square, Krakow, 5) The Szołayskich House at 9 Szczepański Square, Krakow, 6) The Castle in Spytkowice at 48 Zamkowa Street, Spytkowice. 3. The services include, in particular, 24-hour physical protection, manning of permanent posts, conducting patrols, controlling the movement of persons and materials, supervising technical security systems, and taking action in threatening situations. 4. The contracting authority also envisages the possibility of ordering additional services in the form of ad hoc posts, billed according to the actual number of hours worked. 5. Right of option: 1) The contracting authority envisages the possibility of exercising the right of option, as referred to in Article 441 of the Pzp, in two stages: the first, involving the extension of the provision of services for 12 months immediately after the completion of the basic contract, and the second, involving the extension of the provision of services for a further 12 months immediately after the completion of the first optional period. The second optional period can only be exercised after the first optional period has been exercised. 2) The scope and manner of providing services during the periods covered by the right of option remain the same as in the basic contract. The detailed rules for exercising the right of option are set out in Section VIII of the SWZ and in the Draft Contract. 6.
