Complete package for covering the electricity needs of the MPG e.V. with a focus on green power

The subject of this tender is the procurement, delivery, and consumption-based billing of electrical energy from renewable energy sources (EE), supplemented by conventional power products, including all associated energy sector services. The Max-Planck-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaften e. V. (hereinafter "MPG") is tendering, through a European-wide negotiated procedure with a competitive dialogue, the supply of electricity with a focus on green power to 76 MPG sites for the calendar years 2028 and 2029, with an automatic, three-time extension of one year each. The electricity supply is being tendered as an all-inclusive supply and includes, in addition to the pure energy supply, in particular the assumption of the balancing responsibility, the procurement and cancellation of certificates of origin, the implementation of the direct marketing of the existing (and future) EE systems of the MPG including Redispatch 2.0 and all reports to be submitted by the plant operator to the respective grid operator on behalf of the respective plant operator, the conclusion of grid use contracts, the billing of all grid fees, taxes and surcharges, as well as a futures market access by the supplier to procure futures market quantities.
