The subject of the procurement is an organ for the large chapel of Malmi Crematorium in accordance with this invitation to tender and its appendices. Malmi Crematorium (1923) is one of the most used crematoria in Finland. The large chapel is the biggest of the three separate chapel spaces. Approximately 1000 commemorative events are held in the large chapel annually, and it has 100 seating places. The new organ is intended to provide good opportunities for high-quality and varied music for commemorative events. The tenderer must visit the site before submitting a tender to familiarise themselves with the subject (Kalmistonkaari 6, 00700 Helsinki) under the guidance of the client's representative. The client will exclude from the tendering process any tenderer who has not familiarised themselves with the subject under the guidance of the client's representative. Construction work can commence on site at the earliest in early 2028. Construction work at the site must be carried out continuously without interruption. The procurement decision is aimed to be made by the end of December 2026. The procurement will involve the Client's organ expert group, which will evaluate and compare the tenders received.
