The City of Altena, represented by the municipal enterprise Abwasserwerk, Linscheidstraße 52, 58762 Altena, operates facilities for the collection, conveyance, and treatment of wastewater, rainwater, and mixed water in the catchment areas of the Altena and Rahmede sewage treatment plants. These municipal sewer networks were severely damaged by the 2021 flood event. Based on initial assessments as part of the damage assessment, registration was made in the reconstruction plan for flood damage remediation. As part of the reconstruction, the City of Altena will receive financial resources from the Federal Government and the State of NRW. The Abwasserwerk of the City of Altena intends to restore the damaged and destroyed sewers in Rahmedestraße. It is responsible for the tendering and implementation of the measures. The subject of this procurement is planning services for the remediation of flood damage in the sewer network of Rahmedestraße as well as the creation of a general drainage plan. The services will be tendered in two lots:

Lot 1 - Planning Services Sewer Rehabilitation Rahmedestraße (eligible for funding)

Design of the rehabilitation of the public drainage facilities in the Rahmedestraße (L 530) area damaged by the 2021 flood, including hydraulic verification and development of a technically and economically optimized rehabilitation concept.

Lot 2 - General Drainage Plan (GEP) EZG Sewage Treatment Plant Rahmedetal (not eligible for funding)

Creation of a general drainage plan for the catchment area of the Rahmedetal sewage treatment plant. These services are not part of the funding for flood damage remediation and will be listed separately.
