Description

The requirement is to procure Fixed-Wing Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) with Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) capability, able to perform complex technical-operational tasks thanks to a multiple sensor suite, new transmission technologies, and a widespread distribution of information. The Contract Value is 3.073.685,77 €, including a "non-programmed quota" which will be calculated based on the bid discount and cannot exceed the 20% limit of the contract value. The offer must include an option for an amount equal to 50% of the contract value. Therefore, the maximum amount for the company is 4.610.528,66 € (3.073.685,77 € + 1.536.842,89 €). The mandate is aimed at acquiring: - 26 Micro-class Fixed-Wing VTOL RPAS, each including: o 2 aircraft, each with a multisensor: Electro-Optical/Infra-Red/Laser Illuminator/Laser Range-Finder; o 1 complete ground segment (comprising 2 command and control stations (Ground Control Station – GCS) with embedded simulator, communication equipment for aircraft control and for data and image reception/transmission, interconnection and power supply apparatuses, Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE); o an additional complete radio terminal (for each system) to allow integration within the Italian Army's tactical network - equipment/devices for carrying out all activities envisaged in the LINE (field) and BASE MAINTENANCE (laboratory) maintenance plans; - backpacks for the tactical transport of the system and cases (type “peli case”) for operational/strategic transport; - Spare Parts (SP) to ensure 100 hours of flight per system per year for three years; - additional sensors for acquisition: 3D aerophotogrammetry, IR thermography with IR sensor, data relay in UHF; - user and maintenance manuals; - on-site technical assistance on call, for scheduled and corrective maintenance activities on national territory for 18 months; - engineering assistance to ensure flight safety in accordance with current aeronautical regulations for 18 months; - offline technical assistance; - training courses for operator instructors, technical maintenance instructors and for operators and maintenance technicians; - Type Certification activities of the RPAS according to AER(EP).P22; - System verification through vulnerability testing.
