The DRK Kliniken Berlin are merging their Mitte and Westend sites as part of the 2025 hospital reform and the increasing shift towards outpatient care. The Mitte site will be closed; inpatient care will be guaranteed there until at least 2028. The Westend site is being developed into a maximum care provider at level 3 with comprehensive emergency care. For this purpose, construction preparatory measures are being implemented at the Westend site. The subject of this procedure is the sub-project (TP) 1.5 "Centralisation of Endoscopy at the Westend Site". The cost estimate is 6,245,000 EUR gross (KGR 200-700). The sub-project is part of the funding from the Hospital Structural Fund, which in total comprises 7 sub-projects with 18 individual measures.
