Netherlands – Riverbank protection works – Bevergaas

We require a multi-year partnership to facilitate smooth collaboration with a contractor who installs beaver fencing through vertical vibration. This method causes minimal disturbance. Based on our available budget and the presence of beavers and burrowing damage, it is determined annually how much fencing should be installed and which area has priority. The aim of this tender is to reach one Framework Agreement for two Contracting Authorities with one Contractor. The Framework Agreement will be concluded with the Bidder who submitted the Bid with the lowest price. The value of the Framework Agreement (Further Orders from both Water Authorities together) is estimated at an average of €500,000 excl. VAT per year. Since it is a framework agreement, a maximum value must also be indicated. Because developments in the field of beaver management are not so predictable, we consider it advisable to allow for flexibility and growth. The maximum value of the framework agreement is therefore set at €3,000,000 excl. VAT (in four contract years, for both Water Authorities together). When this maximum value is reached, the Framework Agreement will no longer have any effect.
