Switzerland – Construction work – Baumeisterarbeiten - Unterwerk Handeck

The Handeck substation dates from 2005 and is an important node in the north-south connections of the Swissgrid network. Swissgrid is renewing the secondary systems. In this context, the expanded operating building will physically separate the facilities of KWO and Swissgrid with separate access points. The following works are to be carried out in the current construction tender for the new substation building: * Site establishment incl. provisional construction wall, fencing and further safety precautions * New construction of substation building: excavation work, in-situ concrete work, use of prefabricated elements, core drilling * New construction of cable systems with cable ducts/cable channels (underground) * New construction of water and wastewater connections, infiltration system * Connection of existing fencing to the new building * New construction of access road with asphalt pavement The detailed services are listed in document C100.
