At the Container Terminal 1 Süd in Bremerhaven, four foundation bodies for offshore transhipment are to be dismantled and disposed of. They are located on the harbour bed and must first be exposed. For this purpose, sheet piling must be pulled and rockfill removed. The foundation bodies each consist of a round reinforced concrete base plate with a diameter of 11 m and a height of h = 1.25 m, as well as a 5.50 m high steel jacket with a diameter of 9 m. The weight is approximately 615 t per body and must be lifted as a whole. The works are to commence in the second half of 2026.
