Germany – Expert witness services – Kreuzungsfreier Ausbau Frankenschnellweg, Abschnitt West: Los 1 Fachbauüberwachung Altlasten- und Materialmanagement und Los 2 Fachbauüberwachung Geotechnik

The West section comprises the expansion of the Frankenschnellweg from the junction of Nuremberg-Doos / Fürth-Südstadt to the junction of the FSW Nuremberg-Westring (Jansenbrücke). With this tender, expert activities regarding disposal and geotechnics are being tendered in two lots. These are, on the one hand, the specialist construction supervision of contaminated sites and material management and, on the other hand, the specialist construction supervision of geotechnics. Both are contact persons for the respective subject areas for the various trades. For Lot 1, Specialist Construction Supervision of Contaminated Sites and Material Management, these include, among others: - Review of existing documents, preliminary investigations, permits, construction schedule, contracts - Examination of tender/disposal concept AN-construction - Work & safety planning for contaminated areas - Ongoing coordination with project participants and expert supervision of excavation and demolition work for separation. Continuous, needs-based monitoring of the disposal measures of the AN-construction and - The FBÜ-AM is responsible for the supervision of excavation and demolition, allocation of material batches to individual stockpiles - Carrying out declaration examinations on stockpiles by the FBÜ-AM in its own organisation and their expert assessment. - Control of quantities, creation/verification of quantity balances. - Statements, monitoring of material storage, participation in meetings

For the execution of the works, the following authorisations or special qualifications are required: Authorisation as an inspection body in accordance with §18 BBodSchG; DGUV-101-004, TRGS 519/521; PN98, signing in eANV. For Lot 2, Specialist Construction Supervision of Geotechnics, this essentially involves - Monitoring the tender-compliant implementation of the construction measure with regard to DIN 18300 ff (homogeneous areas) - Geotechnical acceptance of bored piles/structural anchors, incl. assessments or base acceptance for bored piles within - Geotechnical acceptance of shallow foundations (base acceptance) - Monitoring and support of the installation of test fields / test compactions - Creation of work instructions for monitoring the work process (M3 method according to ZTV E-Stb 17) - Support and implementation or monitoring of control tests according to ZTV E-Stb 17 - Checking and evaluating the self-monitoring measures of the AN-construction according to ZTV E-Stb 17

The works are to be accompanied by a geotechnical expert according to DIN 4020 or a specialist planner for geotechnics according to DIN 1054. The following requirements are to be demonstrated and, if requested, will be submitted: Type of study / duration of practical experience: - Dipl.-Ing., Master (M.Sc., M.Eng), Dipl.-Geol., or comparable, professional experience: at least 2 years - Dipl.-Ing (FH), professional experience: at least 2 years - Bachelor, professional experience: at least 4 years

Practical experience is evidenced by references for the sub-areas: - Foundation of structures - Civil engineering and excavation pits - Road construction

Test procedures that are part of RAP Stra 15 may only be carried out by recognised testing facilities. The test laboratory must be notified to the AG before examination of the respective sample. If requested, the test facility will be notified to the awarding authority.
