A tender procedure is being conducted for the award of engineering services for the "Kanalaufdimensionierung Hauptsammler" in a negotiated procedure with a competitive dialogue, according to §§ 17 VgV. As part of the development of the drainage infrastructure of the city of Lahr, the expansion of the main collector in the area of Freiburger Straße / Kanadaring / Eisenbahnstraße / Alte Rheinstraße is planned. The relevant section is identified as measure 1.2 in the plan documents. According to the current planning status, an expansion of the main collector to DN 1400 is planned for the described measure area. The subject of the planning is the development and implementation of the necessary construction measure, including integration into the existing canal network. The exact delimitation and design of the section to be expanded is to be further developed on the basis of the available inventory and planning documents. A significant basis for further processing are the hydraulic boundary conditions of the drainage system and the results of the update of the Generalentwässerungsplan (GEP). The planned dimensioning to DN 1400 is to be verified in the further planning process, taking these bases into account. The existing local conditions of the measure area are to be taken into account in the planning. These include, in particular, the integration into the existing canal network, the existing traffic and property conditions, as well as existing supply and disposal lines and other infrastructural facilities. The necessary connections and transitions to the existing infrastructure must be designed according to the chosen technical solution. The measure is to be developed taking into account the existing drainage function. For the construction implementation, an appropriate procedure must be provided, with which the necessary wastewater discharge can also be ensured during the construction period. If construction conditions, sectional enclosures or temporary solutions are required for this, they must be taken into account in the course of further planning. The planning should overall ensure a technically suitable, economical and permanently operationally safe solution for the expansion of the main collector to DN 1400 and accompany the measure from further planning concretisation to construction implementation.
