The City of Hörstel intends to construct a new town hall. The planning area/construction site is located in the northeast of the city. Access to the planned building will be via the newly constructed plan road, which can be reached via Uferstraße. The design includes an approximately 57.00 m long and 16.50 m deep, space-efficient wing. This is arranged internally into a main core and two office areas with ancillary rooms along the central axis. The building is divided into three above-ground floors and a basement. The gross floor area is approximately 3,825 m². According to the council's resolution, the building is to be constructed as an Efficiency House 40. To meet the KfW-EG 40 standard, the criteria of the sustainability certification QNG according to DGNB must be observed. The building will be constructed in hybrid timber construction from the ground floor up and in solid construction in the basement.
