The project involves the construction of a continuous 1.1 km pedestrian and cycle route from Talackerstrasse to Solarstrasse. The route runs north of the railway line and passes over SBB and industrial areas, as well as partially existing, adaptable cycle and footpaths. The route consists of a 4.30 m wide carriageway with red-coloured surfacing for cycle traffic, and a 2.00 to 2.50 m wide footpath. The footpath will be paved and separated from the cycle carriageway by a diagonally placed stone. The Seenerstrasse will be crossed by a new 23.50 m long and 7.50 m wide reinforced concrete bridge. The bridge, designed as a frame structure, optically matches the adjacent SBB bridge. Most of the rainwater will infiltrate laterally into adjacent green strips, and the entire route will be illuminated with north-side placed lampposts. As part of the project, utility works will be carried out.
