Poland – Construction work for water and sewage pipelines – Budowa sieci wodociągowej i sieci kanalizacji sanitarnej w rejonie lotniska Muchowiec w Katowicach

Name of the contract: „Construction of the water supply network and the sanitary sewerage network in the area of the Muchowiec airport in Katowice”. The subject of the contract is the design and construction of a sanitary sewerage system with a sewage pumping station and a water supply network to supply the media to the event areas on the airport site. As part of the task, domestic sewage from the event area will be collected in the sewerage system and directed to the Gigablok sewage treatment plant, without the need to empty and remove waste from portable toilets. The construction of the water supply, in the event area, will enable the direct connection of the catering backstage, water points, and above all toilets and washbasins to the water supply network, which will improve the sanitary and hygiene infrastructure in this area during the planned events. In total, the following is envisaged for the implementation of the above task: 1) Construction of the sanitary sewerage network with associated equipment, including: - gravity sewer in the diameter range Ø160-200mm with a length of L=20m - pressure sewer with a diameter of ø90PE, length approx. L=850m 2) Associated equipment and structures, including, among others: - installation of a retention tank with a capacity of approx. 10 m3 before the sewage pumping station - installation of a sewage pumping station with land development around the structure and fencing; - construction of a separation chamber with fittings and flow meter; - construction of cleaning wells DN1500mm – approx. 6 units; 3) Construction of the water supply network with associated equipment: - Water supply network with a diameter of Ø160PE with a length of approx. L=650m 4) Associated equipment, including, among others: - water meter chamber with equipment, - water meter well with equipment, - above-ground hydrant – 1 unit, - network valves, 5) Restoration of the surface after the completion of the excavation works, including, among others: - Parking with asphalt surface – area approx. 120m2, - Alley with asphalt surface – area approx. 130m2, - Green areas – area approx. 1000m2 2. The detailed scope of the contract subject is specified in the Functional-Operational Programme which is Annex no. 10 to the SWZ. 3. Quality guarantee and warranty period for defects: The Contracting Authority requires that the quality guarantee period for the completed contract subject is at least 36 months from the date of final acceptance. The Contracting Authority requires that the warranty period for defects is 60 months from the date of final acceptance. The conditions of the guarantee and warranty are specified in Annex no. 8 to the SWZ – draft contract provisions.
