Poland – Road construction works – Rozbudowa DW nr 515 w Dzierzgoniu – etap II

The scope of the contract covers the expansion of the provincial road no. 515 on the section of the city of Dzierzgoń from approx. km 26+483 to km 28+440. The implementation of the investment aims to improve the safety of all road users, organise the flow of vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, improve driving comfort and ensure traffic flow, and thus improve the acoustic and aesthetic values in the locality. The scope of the works includes a comprehensive reconstruction of the road structure of provincial road no. 515, correction of the geometry of horizontal and vertical curves of the route, reconstruction of intersections with public roads, separation of pedestrian and cycle traffic from the carriageway (construction of pavements and pedestrian-cycle paths) and reconstruction of exits as well as the construction of bays and bus stops. Existing trees and shrubs growing on the road body and colliding with the new road layout will also be removed. As part of the investment, the reconstruction and construction of the road drainage system is planned, including the construction of road ditches and the reconstruction of the stormwater drainage system together with the construction of purification facilities, as well as the reconstruction and construction of road lighting along the entire reconstructed section of the road. The scope of the task also includes the elimination of collisions with underground and above-ground network and equipment, including the reconstruction of the water and sewer network, gas network, electrical and telecommunications networks. Road greenery elements will also be carried out, including tree planting, horizontal and vertical signage and BRD devices. The scope of the works of this contract is separated from the project entitled "Expansion of provincial road no. 515 from the border of Malbork to the border of the province. Section III - city of Dzierzgoń" - and covers the section from the bridge on the Dzierzgonce river to the end of the scope of the works i.e. from km 26+483 to km 28+440. The subject of the works has been appropriately adapted to the scope of the contract.
