Finland – Electrical machinery, apparatus, equipment and consumables; lighting – 110/20kV, 25MVA päämuuntajan hankinta

In the background and purpose TLS Verkko Oy, Rovakaira Oy and Muonion Sähköosuuskunta each intend to procure a 110/20kV, 25MVA main transformer to the installation sites specified in the tender documents more precisely in the Lapland region. The initial objective of the procurement is the procurement of three (3) 110/20kV, 25MVA main transformers including: - Design and manufacture of the main transformer according to the Purchaser's separate technical specifications, - Factory testing and installation of the main transformer at the site, - Delivery and installation of the main transformer on the transformer base, and - Commissioning of the main transformer to full operating condition as well as support and maintenance services. The Purchaser is responsible for building the foundations for the main transformer and connecting the main transformer to the grid. Option 1: The procurement initially includes the following mandatory options to be offered ("Option 1") for TLS Verkko Oy, Rovakaira Oy and Muonion Sähköosuuskunta with their installations: - vacuum circuit breaker, - gas analyser, - transformer tank safety lock, and - maintenance-free electrical dehumidifier. Each organisation decides independently on the purchase or non-purchase of the option. More detailed terms related to the purchase of the option are described in the preliminary tender documents. Option 2: The procurement initially includes the following mandatory option to be offered ("Option 2"). The subject of Option 2 is a main transformer to be delivered to Rovakaira Oy, which otherwise corresponds to the main transformer procured in the Purchaser's procurement process, but whose power shall be 31.5 MVA. It will be decided whether to include Option 2 in the procurement target no later than before the final invitation to tender is published.
