Total consultancy tender concerning the modernisation and capacity expansion of the child and youth home Nexus located in Jægerspris, based on the vision of creating a child and youth home that aesthetically and functionally provides a homely and secure experience for the children and young people who come to Nexus during a chaotic period of their lives. The child and youth home must also, in its functions, meet the necessary safety requirements in legislation and for staff. The task is carried out with Socialforvaltningen (SOF) as the client. Nexus is a child and youth home for young people aged 14-18, with aftercare up to 23 years. Nexus has space for 14 young people, who are either placed in an open or partially closed location. The young people are placed according to the Child Act § 43, subsection 1, no. 6, and subsection 3. The young people often have diagnostic difficulties, substance abuse and struggle with affect regulation. Nexus has residential units, an internal school and workshop in various buildings on the site. The project is framed for the following tasks, which are expected to be carried out in as few phases as possible:

1. Reconstruction of the medical room (approx. 18m2) and crossfield (approx. 4m2) on the ground floor in building 10B and laundry room (approx. 11m2), technical room (approx. 17 m2) and drying room (approx. 12 m2) in the basement in building 10B

2. Demolition of the training room in building 10C (approx. 170m2 gross - scope to be qualified by TR)

3. Extension to building 10B with 8 bedrooms, guard rooms, common areas and associated outdoor area. (approx. 488 m2 gross - scope to be qualified by TR)

4. Reconstruction of building 10E (approx. 234 m2 - scope to be qualified by TR) to staff facilities

5. Reconstruction of the internal school in building 10D (approx. 200m2 - scope to be qualified by TR)

6. Demolition of the existing workshop in building 10I (approx. 103m2)

7. Construction of an extension to the existing workshop building 10I (130m2)

8. New construction of training hall (200m2 - scope to be qualified by TR)

All m2 are estimates and must be qualified by the total consultant in the initial phase. The task is also described in more detail in the tender material, including in Appendix C. The tender concerns total consultancy. The expected enterprise sum is currently 44 million DKK, and the model for calculating the consultant's fee appears from the tender list.
