Romania – Railway transport services – SERVICII DE TRANSPORT FEROVIAR DE CARBUNE

The procurement was initiated through the Requirement and Opportunity Report no. 8105/29.04.2026, a report drawn up by the Technical Department - UCC within Electrocentrale Craiova SA. The technical requirements are specified in the terms of reference no. 8107/29.04.2026, drawn up by the Technical Department within Electrocentrale Craiova SA. The rail transport service for thermal coal will be carried out on the public railway from the CF dispatch stations of the suppliers (the quarries in the Husnicioara-Rovinari-Jilt-Motru coal basin) and the CFR Cernele station. The CFR Cernele station has industrial railway lines connected to the public railway infrastructure through track switches and electric signals. The trains loaded with thermal coal are brought from the dispatch stations of the quarries to the CFR Cernele station, where they are taken over by the staff of the CFU Section of Electrocentrale Craiova SA and brought to the unloading platforms. After unloading, the empty wagons are brought back to the CFR Cernele station by the same staff and made available to the economic transport operator. The deadline for the publication of the response/consolidated responses to the requests for clarification addressed by the economic operators before the deadline for the submission of tenders: 11 days before the deadline for the receipt of tenders. The deadline by which clarifications can be requested before the deadline for the submission of tenders: 18 days.
