Germany – Communication land-line rental – Betrieb Gigabit-Netz der Breitband Ostalb KAöR – OAK Gebiet West

Based on existing infrastructure, the participating cities and municipalities plan to establish a subsidised gigabit network based on FTTB technology in the municipal areas according to the Annex Task Description. This newly created passive gigabit network (FTTB) is to be successively made available to a private network operator as operation-ready sub-networks for use and creation of the active network level and the provision of high-bitrate broadband connections in return for payment.
