The contract primarily involves the establishment of 2 x 4 km guideways for 4 x 800mm2 25kV feeder cables and 4 x 800mm2 25kV return cables. The guideways are to be laid as 2 x cable trenches as specified in FD149.671751 between Gelsted substation and Fjelsted (approx. 4.0 km). The establishment of the cable trenches includes excavation work and the installation of controlled under-boring, including laying and splicing of 800mm2 high-voltage cables and laying of 4 x Ø40mm empty pipes for fibre cable. Connection of the 800mm2 cables at both ends will be carried out by another contractor, as will the pulling of fibre cables.
