Description
University of Stuttgart; NWZ II, Renovation for Chemistry, Architectural and Interior Design Services for Buildings and Interiors according to Part 3 Section 1 HOAI, Preliminary Measures at NWZ I for the Renovation of NWZ II, Pfaffenwaldring 55, 70569 Stuttgart, The Natural Science Center (NWZ) I and II at Pfaffenwaldring (PWR) 55 and 57 was completed in the 1970s. The NWZ is to be comprehensively renovated in sections over the coming years. Renovation Section 1 concerns NWZ II, while Renovation Section 2 concerns NWZ I. The planning tasks advertised in this procedure are the preliminary measures at NWZ I in anticipation of the planned renovation of NWZ II in the first renovation section. They are part of the overall renovation measure NWZ. Various adaptation measures must be carried out at NWZ I to decouple and separate the two buildings in terms of building construction and building services. In addition, existing uses from NWZ II must be temporarily accommodated in NWZ I for its renovation and existing uses must be condensed there. The Faculty of Chemistry is housed in the laboratory high-rise of NWZ I (PWR 55) with adjacent flat buildings to the east. The flat buildings house lecture halls, the university library, and a cafeteria. NWZ I has a total of 23,800 m² NUF (1-6). The architectural services to be commissioned relate to partial areas of the building with approx. 2,900 m² NUF and essentially include work on: Library with approx. 2,520 m² NUF, administrative and departmental areas with approx. 90 m² NUF, as well as practical and laboratory areas with approx. 290 m² NUF. The measure also includes work on operational supply and disposal systems such as systems for technical gases and wastewater treatment. The building is largely in its original state with corresponding age-related pollutant loads. The measures are interim solutions until the planned commissioning of NWZ II and the comprehensive renovation of NWZ I. The building is located in the campus center within a dense/constrained urban structure. Implementation takes place during regular university/building operations. Costs: The construction costs (KG 300-400) amount to approx. 8,000,000 Euro gross. Costs for possible construction price and construction client risks are not included here. Dates: The project start is scheduled for late January with the contract award. Completion of LPH 2 is planned for March 2027 and is mandatory with regard to the overall schedule. Completion of the measure is planned for the 1st quarter of 2031. Architectural and Interior Design Services for Buildings and Interiors according to Part 3 Section 1 HOAI, Basic Services of Phases 2 to 9 according to § 34 HOAI, and Special Services of Phase 2.
