Description

The Tampere University Community is procuring construction services for buildings through a joint procurement process. The purchasing units are Tampere University Foundation sr (TAU) and Tampere University of Applied Sciences Ltd (TAMK), which will enter into procurement contracts. The subject of the procurement are the construction technical repair, maintenance, alteration and renovation works to be carried out in the Contracting Entity's properties, buildings and other managed assets. The works may include repairs relating to individual building sections, space alterations, construction works related to changes in use, and other separately procured construction technical entities. Examples include space alteration or repair projects, which are tendered among wood suppliers. The works will be carried out on all campuses of the Contracting Entity in various locations, for example: - TAMK main campus, floor area approx. 50,000 m2 - Hervanta campus, floor area approx. 100,000 m2 - Kauppi campus, floor area approx. 30,000 m2 - City Centre campus, floor area approx. 80,000 m2. The above-mentioned locations are examples, and works may also be carried out in other locations. The tender does not cover changes and repair works carried out/ordered by the property owner in their own properties, with the exception of properties owned by the Tampere University Community itself. The alteration works mainly target the spaces, systems and operating environments of learning and research environments, based on the needs of their users or the parties responsible for their maintenance. In the alteration works of Tampere University Foundation, the guidelines of the Contracting Entity and the property owners, such as Suomen Yliopistokiinteistöt Oy, regarding construction are followed, and the alteration works are documented in the BEM project bank (the project bank may change during the contract period as a result of the tender). For TAMK, the corresponding system is currently Haahtela PRIS. The purchasing unit will select five (5) bidders who rank best in the comparison for the framework agreement. If there are fewer than five (5) bidders, all bidders who meet the suitability and minimum requirements and have submitted a bid in accordance with the tender will be selected for the framework agreement. The framework agreement period is four (4) years. The framework agreement comes into effect only after both parties have signed the framework agreement. Agreements relating to individual procurement contracts may be shorter or longer than the actual framework agreement period. Agreements relating to individual procurements may, if necessary, continue beyond the duration of the framework agreement. The maximum value of procurements made on the basis of the framework agreement is 4,500,000 euros (VAT 0%), of which Tampere University Foundation's share is 3,000,000 euros (VAT 0%) and Tampere University of Applied Sciences' share is 1,500,000 euros (VAT 0%). Tampere University Foundation and Tampere University of Applied Sciences will make their own framework agreements. The contract terms and the making of procurements are described in more detail in Annex 1 Framework Agreement Draft of the tender.
