The municipality of Renquishausen plans the new construction of a 4-group kindergarten in the town centre, adjacent to the community centre. Within the community centre, former school rooms will no longer be needed and are available for the expansion of the fire department and for use by the new kindergarten. The connection of the existing structure and the extension should provide users with a modern kindergarten and synergies with the existing uses. Following a successful VgV negotiation procedure with participation competition and solution proposal, the building design and the external facilities have already been awarded. The municipality of Renquishausen aims to build a 4-group kindergarten that meets current educational standards as a hybrid timber building. The site is located in a topographically challenging hillside location. The two-storey new building uses the height development for level access on both floors. The new building connects to the existing community hall via a single-storey intermediate building with a roof terrace.
