Finland – Building completion work – Renovering av Närpes stadshus - byggnadstekniska arbeten

Närpes Town (the contracting authority) requests an application for participation in the procurement of the renovation of Närpes Town Hall – building works. The question concerns a renovation and reconstruction of an existing building. The contracting authority is tendering building works as the main contractor. The contracting authority is procuring separate electrical and HVAC works, which are subcontracted to the main contractor through subcontracting agreements. The renovation of Närpes Town Hall is taking place as a renovation of an existing building at the address Kyrkvägen 2, 64200 Närpes. A description of the contract is set out in Annex D - Construction Description. A more detailed description of the contract's content will be presented later in the procurement's tendering phase. The procurement is being carried out as an EU procurement via a restricted two-stage procedure. The building works are intended to start as soon as possible, but no earlier than after the procurement decision has entered into legal force and on the condition that budgeted funds have been granted for the purpose. For the total contract, Närpes Town has currently budgeted funds of 7.25 million €. The contracting authority reserves the right to terminate the procurement if the full council does not allocate sufficient funds for the project.
