Finland – Building completion work – Renovering av Närpes stadshus - VS-tekniska arbeten

Närpes Town (the contracting authority) requests an application to participate in the procurement of the Renovation of Närpes Town Hall – Building technical works. The question is about the renovation and reconstruction of an existing building. The contracting authority tenders building technical works as the main contractor. The contracting authority procures separate EL and HVAC works, which are subcontracted to the main contractor through subcontractor agreements. The renovation of Närpes Town Hall takes place as a renovation of an existing building at the address Kyrkvägen 2, 64200 Närpes. A description of the project is outlined in Appendix D - Building Description. A more detailed description of the project's content will be presented later in the procurement's tendering phase. The procurement is carried out as an EU procurement via a two-stage procedure with a restricted procedure. The building project is intended to start as soon as possible, but no earlier than after the procurement decision has legal force and provided that budgeted funds have been granted for the purpose. For the total contract, Närpes Town has currently budgeted funds of 7.25 million €. The contracting authority reserves the right to cancel the procurement if the full council does not allocate sufficient funds for the project.
