Finland – Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work – Vuosaaren vesihuollon aluesaneeraus, osa I TP 44-26

The construction site is located in the Vuosaari district of Helsinki. The design and construction of the water supply network, based on the master plan (total 18.8 km), is divided as follows:

- 6.4 km of water mains to be rehabilitated by pipe bursting

- 2.7 km of water mains to be rehabilitated by pipe bursting

- 6.1 km of sewer to be rehabilitated by pipe bursting

- 1.7 km of storm sewer to be rehabilitated by pipe bursting

- The total length of the section to be excavated is approximately 1.2 km

- 0.83 km of water mains to be rehabilitated by excavation

- 0.8 km of sewer to be rehabilitated by excavation

- 0.3 km of storm sewer to be rehabilitated by excavation

- 330 property service connections

- There are 158 inspection chambers for sewers to be rehabilitated and 55 inspection chambers for storm sewers.

The project will also construct a new water flow metering station for the main water pipe and the old one will be taken out of service. In connection with the rehabilitation of the water mains, new fire hydrants (PVA) and above-ground fire posts (MPP), above-ground flushing posts (MHP), and underground flushing posts (HP) will be built in the area. The existing underground fire posts in use for extinguishing will be taken out of service in connection with the rehabilitations. The tender plans are not directly available from the Tarjouspalvelu.fi portal due to the confidential information they contain for the client, and therefore the plans will only be sent to the shortlisted candidates after requesting the completion of a confidentiality agreement for the preparation of the preliminary tender.
