The objective of the contract is the identification and evaluation of dependencies of Germany/German companies in global supply chains. To this end, in a first step, supply chain indices for various analytical purposes should be developed (Module A). In a second step, national dependencies on trading partners should be derived (Module B). The analytical framework should then be expanded to include indirect dependencies (Module C) and supplemented with an evaluation of actual vulnerabilities at the national level using appropriate criteria (Module D). Based on the findings, an interactive (partially) visual IT-based representation suitable for analytical purposes should be developed, which provides users with analytical functions across various analytical levels and visualizes them (Module E). Finally, dependencies and vulnerabilities should be linked at a disaggregated level with supply, value-added, and technology chains, in order to identify affected supply chains in scenarios and to examine impacts in a model-based manner (Module F).
