The DRK Kliniken Berlin are merging their Mitte and Westend sites as part of the 2025 hospital reform and the increasing trend towards outpatient care. The Mitte site will be closed; inpatient care will be guaranteed there until at least 2028. The Westend site is developing into a maximum care provider at care level Level 3 with comprehensive emergency care. Construction preparatory measures are being implemented at the Westend site. The subject of this procedure is the sub-project (TP) 5 "Renovation of building management systems and centralisation and modernisation of the IT landscape". The cost estimate is 17,309,000 EUR gross (KGR 200-700). The sub-project is part of the funding from the hospital structure fund, which in total comprises 7 sub-projects with 18 individual measures.
