Finland – Ferry transport services – Vallisaaren suoran reittiliikenteen hankinta

With this notice, Metsähallitus invites tenders for the provision of water transport services to Vallisaari for the years 2027–2029. The water route is intended to transport visitors to Vallisaari from Helsinki Market Square. The connection to Vallisaari is the only route linking the island to the mainland, with an estimated 50,000 passengers annually. Helsinki Biennial aims for 120,000 visitors to Vallisaari in 2027 and 120,000 visitors if realised in 2029. One service provider will be selected based on the tender. A more detailed description of the route is provided in Annex 1 of the Invitation to Tender. The purchaser is not bound by the estimates of the procurement quantity presented in the Invitation to Tender. The procurement uses the open procedure according to Section 32 of the Act on Public Procurement 1397/2016.
