Belgium – Building construction work – Grondige renovatie en uitbreiding van het conferentiegebouw, (B100), JRC Geel - Een NEB-proefproject

The conference building on the JRC-Geel site was constructed almost 50 years ago and has now reached the end of its useful life. A comprehensive renovation strategy has been implemented that complies with current legislation, to improve energy efficiency and modernise the facilities. In addition, an extension is proposed that will provide space for various staff and social activities, transforming the entire building into multifunctional spaces for conferences, training, events, collaboration and social gatherings. This is a pilot project under the New European Bauhaus.
