Germany – Construction work – Vergabeeinheit 1 - Demontage & Entsorgung
Description
Currently, heat generation is primarily achieved through the two coal-fired steam generators of the Tiefstack power plant, which was commissioned in 1993. Additionally, the power plant includes two peak load boilers fueled by gas or heating oil, which are used solely for heat generation. The site also features a gas and steam turbine power plant (GuD) that was commissioned in 2009. As part of the "Tiefstack Transformation (TiTra)" program, Hamburger Energiewerke is converting the Tiefstack heating plant from coal to natural gas (H?Gas) to achieve the climate goals of the city of Hamburg and to reduce the coal share of district heating generation to zero by 2030. After the conversion, the previous power and heat extraction capacities are to be largely maintained. For this purpose, in particular, coal firing, ash and desulfurization plants, as well as coal-based air and flue gas systems, need to be dismantled. Lot 1 bundles these demolition services and thus forms the basis for the new construction and conversion of the follow-up trades. The Tiefstack power plant is currently operated with two coal-fired steam generators in CHP mode, supplemented by a GuD power plant. Extensive coal-specific plant components are installed at the site, including, but not limited to: - Flue gas desulfurization plant (REA building UHT) with absorber/scrubber, gypsum suspension container, pumps, pipelines, GAVO, induced draft fans, silencers and flue gas ducts, - Electrostatic precipitators for dust removal, - Coal day bunkers, coal mills, primary air fans and ducts, burners with dust ducts, - Soot blowers and lance blowers, burner ash conveying, wet bottom ash and slag transport. These plants are no longer needed or are obstructive for future gas operation and must be systematically dismantled, disposed of, or prepared for reuse.
