Germany – Communication land-line rental – Betrieb Gigabit-Netz der Breitband Ostalb KAöR – OAK Gebiet Ost

Based on existing infrastructure, the participating cities and municipalities plan to establish a subsidised Gigabit network based on FTTB technology in the municipal areas as per the Annex Task Description. This newly created passive Gigabit network (FTTB) will be successively made available to a private network operator as operationally ready sub-networks for use and creation of the active network level and the provision of high-bitrate broadband connections in return for payment.
