The Regionaltangente West (RTW) is a new tangential rail link in the Rhine-Main region to improve public rail transport in the Frankfurt am Main metropolitan area. It primarily serves to better connect the western districts of Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding districts, cities and municipalities with each other and to improve the connection to Frankfurt Airport. The contracting authority (AG) is responsible as the project promoter for the planning, construction and operation of the RTW infrastructure. The subject of this procurement is specialist planning services for the technical equipment of the 50 Hz systems. A detailed description can be found in the procurement documents.
