Niedersachsen Ports GmbH & Co.KG (hereinafter: Niedersachsen Ports) is the largest infrastructure operator of public seaports, island supply ports and regional ports on the German North Sea coast. Among other things, Niedersachsen Ports operates the island port of Norderney on the island of the same name and is bound to the place by public transport routes. The main functions of the port are ferry traffic and the supply of the island of Norderney. Niedersachsen Ports, as the owner, will make the property N20 with an area of approximately 2,208 m² available from 01.01.2027. Property N20 is a lawn area. Construction on property N20 (including surface reinforcement) is excluded. From 01.01.2027, property N20 can be leased under a lease agreement for priority use for gastronomic purposes or for other leisure and tourism purposes. To the extent permitted by public law, secondary use as a port-related storage and parking area is also conceivable. The examination of the permit requirement and feasibility of the intended use is the responsibility of the respective settlement interested party. Against the background described above, Niedersachsen Ports is conducting this competition law procedure to select the tenant for property N20.
